為深入落實(shí)《關(guān)于加強(qiáng)基礎(chǔ)學(xué)科人才培養(yǎng)的意見(jiàn)》要求，不斷提升學(xué)生的國(guó)際勝任力，華中科技大學(xué)同濟(jì)醫(yī)學(xué)院基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)院將于2024年8月26日-8月30日，以“探索代謝路徑，揭秘細(xì)胞命運(yùn)”為主題舉辦第二屆基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)成長(zhǎng)伙伴國(guó)際暑期學(xué)校，為學(xué)員帶來(lái)開(kāi)啟思維碰撞的學(xué)術(shù)盛宴。

一、暑校介紹

2024年8月26日-30日，華中科技大學(xué)同濟(jì)醫(yī)學(xué)院基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)院聯(lián)合美國(guó)耶魯大學(xué)、哥倫比亞大學(xué)、德克薩斯大學(xué)西南醫(yī)學(xué)中心，德國(guó)海德堡大學(xué)，希臘雅典國(guó)立大學(xué)等世界一流高校，匯聚6名國(guó)內(nèi)外知名專(zhuān)家教授，圍繞細(xì)胞代謝方向，以前沿課程、實(shí)驗(yàn)室見(jiàn)習(xí)、匯報(bào)展示相結(jié)合的形式舉辦第二屆基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)成長(zhǎng)伙伴暑期學(xué)校。完成所有課程學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)員將獲得由華中科技大學(xué)基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)院頒發(fā)的結(jié)業(yè)證書(shū)。通過(guò)暑期學(xué)校的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)員可以探索學(xué)術(shù)前沿、樹(shù)立學(xué)術(shù)志趣、提升學(xué)術(shù)能力、進(jìn)一步拓寬全球視野，提升國(guó)際勝任力。

二、參加人員

擬招收約50名學(xué)生。以華中科技大學(xué)基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)院基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)拔尖基地學(xué)生為主，同時(shí)面向全國(guó)各高校拔尖計(jì)劃2.0基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)科基地學(xué)生、基礎(chǔ)醫(yī)學(xué)強(qiáng)基計(jì)劃學(xué)生以及國(guó)際上相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)的優(yōu)秀學(xué)生進(jìn)行選拔。

三、具體安排

暑校時(shí)間：2024年8月26日-8月30日

授課地點(diǎn)：華中科技大學(xué)同濟(jì)醫(yī)學(xué)院PBL教學(xué)樓、2號(hào)教學(xué)樓

授課方式：線上線下相結(jié)合

上課方式：校內(nèi)學(xué)生線下參加，校外學(xué)員線上參與

項(xiàng)目費(fèi)用：免收學(xué)費(fèi)，如有其余費(fèi)用需自理

2024 HUST Global Summer School

The 2^nd Basic Medicine Growth Partner Summer School under the theme of "Explore Metabolic Pathways and Decipher Cell Fate"

As part and parcel of 2024 HUST Global Summer School, the Basic Discipline Growth Partner Summer School is offered by seven top-notch student training plan 2.0 bases in basic disciplines. As one of seven organizers, School of Basic Medicine, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, will hold its second Basic Medicine Growth Partner Summer School under the theme of “Explore Metabolic Pathways and Decipher Cell Fate” and provide an academically rigorous experience for all learners.

Program Introduction

From August 26 to August 30, 2024, School of Basic Medicine invites 6 renowned professors from Yale University, Columbia University, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Heidelberg University, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and other prestigious universities in China and beyond to give online and on-campus lectures centering on Cell Metabolism. Students can explore frontier knowledge of chosen subjects, identify their academic interests and enhance their academic competence through a variety of well-crafted courses, lab tour, and presentations. Students will be presented with a certificate if they finish learning all the lectures. Upon completion, all participants are expected to be equipped with a broader global vision and better international competence.

Date: August 26 - August 30, 2024 (5 days)

Location: PBL building of Tongji Medical College, Building No.2

Format: online and on campus (HUST students are encouraged to attend all lectures offline while other students can only attend online.)

Fee: free of charge

Targeted Students: Students from Top-Notch Student Training Plan 2.0 Bases in Basic Medicine, as well as students worldwide who are interested in basic medical research

Maximum number of students: 50
