劉丹,教授,博士生導(dǎo)師,湖北省優(yōu)秀博士論文和華中科技大學(xué)“學(xué)術(shù)新人獎(jiǎng)”獲得者。主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金4項(xiàng)。研究方向?yàn)楸碛^遺傳因子在神經(jīng)退行性疾病中的作用及機(jī)制研究。目前以第一者或通訊作者發(fā)表SCI論文23篇,其中包括Neuron, Cell Research, Biological Psychiatry, Cell Death & Differentiation, The Journal of Neuroscience等國(guó)際期刊,單篇論文最高他引為100余次。

承擔(dān)教學(xué)工作情況

承擔(dān)五年制臨床醫(yī)學(xué)、法醫(yī)和醫(yī)學(xué)影像學(xué)及四年制檢驗(yàn)班等本科生的醫(yī)學(xué)遺學(xué)的理論及實(shí)驗(yàn)課的教學(xué)承擔(dān)研究生的醫(yī)學(xué)遺傳學(xué)和醫(yī)學(xué)遺傳學(xué)進(jìn)展等課程的教學(xué)。

研究方向

主要從事阿爾茨海默病(Alzheimers disease, AD)發(fā)病的分子機(jī)制及防治措施的研究。該病是最常見(jiàn)的一類老年癡呆癥,以進(jìn)行性認(rèn)識(shí)功能障礙為特征,嚴(yán)重影響老年人群的生活質(zhì)量,同時(shí)對(duì)整個(gè)社會(huì)也帶來(lái)極大的負(fù)擔(dān)。然而,目前對(duì)于該病的發(fā)病機(jī)制、預(yù)防及治療措施尚不清楚。微小RNA是一類高度保守的非編碼RNA,其主要在轉(zhuǎn)錄/轉(zhuǎn)錄后水平對(duì)基因的表達(dá)進(jìn)行調(diào)控。近年來(lái)的研究表明microRNA的失調(diào)對(duì)AD的發(fā)病進(jìn)程起重要作用,所以本課題組的主要研究方向?yàn)?/span>microRNAAD發(fā)病中的作用與機(jī)制研究。
